WHY SHOULD YOU HIRE A DESIGNER
Flowers are part of the decor and ambiance for an event. When you are having a celebration, you make it special by wowing the senses. The venue rents you a bare room and you layer in the food and drink and music and you compose it and elevate it with lights and linens and flowers. If done right - they will be a point of conversation as much as the caterer or the DJ, and they will last in your pictures for a lifetime.

My job is to take the guesswork away from hiring a florist, inspire trust that your investment is worth it, and make your event as perfect as it can be. COULDN'T YOU DO YOUR OWN FLOWERS
You can, but it takes a lot more than you think. I have seen a bride in misery on the morning of her wedding sitting in her dress on the floor putting together centerpieces with smelly flowers from a farmer's market that were grown in manure. They didn't look good, they didn't smell good. An inexperienced designer wouldn't know they could accidentally get pollen all over brides dress, or water spots from damp stems, or pin-ons that are at all different heights on the lapels of the groomsmen and captured in photos forever, or even know which flowers would die in the sun of a July wedding.
If you don't want things to go wrong on your special day, have a professional do it. It takes long days of work from pickup and proper processing of flowers, to building that perfect bouquet or making sure the first of forty table arrangements looks as good as the last. Let me take on that work and worry.
